Days 63 and 64; June 29 and 30 - Repairs
Wednesday was an off day. Off we went again to research and price tires. This project was expected. It was time to replace the two tires on the back axle. We went to three places and received three different ideas and prices. Just like always, we ended back at the first place. We also needed some replacement items for our refrigerator. So we put Wal-Mart in the GPS and choose the furthest one away. It was the prettiest. It was up north and settled into the mountains.
Thursday we got up early, repacked everything and tied things back down and headed to the spring shop. Driver had been thinking and we waited until they had the wheels off the trailer and we picked them up and took them to the tire shop and had new tires put on the rims and took them back to the spring shop. Saved us driving the camper through town again.
They finished with the trailer around 2:30pm. Back to the campground. Just as I finshed putting things back, the Bev's Pet Grooming called and we went to pick up our yipping dog that was now pretty as a picture and didn't have ice cream in her ears.
Driver informed me that now that everything was fixed he had enough of town and wanted to get in the woods like he intended. MEN! I was enjoying our BBQs over the grill and my smore roast over the left over coals. Two of our fellow campers were walking by last night as I was roasting my marshmallow with a meat fork over the coals. The man did a double-take and had to come back to make a comment. When you have lemons, you make lemonade.
We also made reservations for our ferry ride on the 8th with our girls. We are going whale hunting and watch glaciers and have a prime rib/salmon buffet. Hope I don't get car sick.
