Day 98; August 3 -- Day on the Beach

Driver/Tour Guide/Repairman got up this morning and put on his work clothes.  He climbed on the roof and replaced the black water tank air vent.  We then had our typical lunch and climbed into the truck.  This is our site at the KOA at Otis, OR (Lincoln City).  It is pretty nice and we had a hedge dividing our spaces.

OK, this is where the Tsunami came several years ago and left a little hill of dirt and tree.  There are warnings and escape routes in case we have another one.

I learn a lot doing laundry.  Last night a lady from Canada said that we should make sure we eat at Mo's.  Every time they come, they have to have dinner there.  So, mid afternoon we headed to the sea shore.

Can you believe the driver tried the fresh sea food.  He rated it "ok" and drooled over the bacon cheeseburger delivered at the next table.  We had a seafood platter.  He had No. 1 and I had No. 2.  (Alaskan Cod, Fried Shrimp or Oysters, Scallops, Salad or Clam Chowder, Homemade Bread, and Fries)  Couldn't believe that they were only $11.98 each.

Little chilly to be out on the water.  It was only 65 when we returned home.  Good place to spend the summer!  We are headed south tomorrow to the deepest lake in Oregon.  I told the driver that I would expect him to decide to get his pretend boat out and go for a ride.  NOT"!!!!
