January 8--Sunday
Elvis's Birthday.
We went to the Jones Christmas Celebration. Barb, Gale, and Kevin went too. I took some mean bread pudding with caramel sauce. Yummy. We had a lot of good food and conversation.

January 9--Monday
We got up at 6:30am to prepare to leave for Beilstein's---pronounced B"III"lsteins---so the native's tell me. We got there around 9:45am. They put our new furnace on while we checked on Deb and did a little shopping for wedding gifts and furniture shopping for Kevin. Found lots of pretty things and met a nice man at Slumberland's in Quincy who suggested we go to the water walk at San Antonia (?)--
We filled up with gas and headed south......FINALLY
We arrived at the $10/night for full hookups at the top of the hill near Branson just as the sun was sitting.

After we sit the camper up, we drove back to Lamberts for dinner, We are now settled in for the night. The driver is snoring, Yippy Do Dog is sleeping, and I'm watching "Two and a Half Men".
I called Daddy and Ruthie on the way down. Daddy answered to phone. Ruthie had gone to town. He was alert and heard pretty well.
