January 6 2014 -- Sunday Brunch and Drive

Yesterday, Sunday, we went to Cracker Barrel and had brunch.  I had breakfast and Gary had lunch.  I love to eat breakfast and he loves meat and potatoes.  So, we both were happy.  We took back the third faucet and got a refund.  So far, no water under the kitchen sink.  We drove around the square and took a side street through the historical district of older homes.  I have no pictures because I was talking to Deb for a short while.

We then went to WalMart and got grub for another week.

On the way home there are two trucks that take us back a few years.  The first one is a gray and white Chevy.  I think Jason bought it from us.  The second is a blue ranger that Gary traded for the stinking blue 4x4.  We do agree that we would have a lot more gas money if we had not traded cars every time one needed to be washed or have new tires.

We still are doing well.  Just a few notes about the area.  The quarter back from Central Florida University is the top draft pick and is going NFL.  This college is located in Ocala.  Tonight between 5-7pm NASA was going to send up a rocket.  If it had been day time, we might have driven down to observe; but old folks need to be tucked away before dark and there is ANOTHER play off game tonight.

Love to all and we like hearing from you about the comments and things we see.

I saw that even Florida didn't escape the Great Chill of 2014! Yikes! Hopefully you guys are far enough south to stay above freezing.
