Headed to San Diego to Visit the Crigler Family

We left Yuma AZ around noon.  We picked up the new love seat (love it!) and got Gary's glasses fixed.  The poor man lost them in a fight with the ladder.  He didn't realize he had lost them; but he sure recovered that dang cap.  He knew it was gone.  He stepped on the glasses and bent the hick out of them.  The lens was gone, scratched but repairable.
The landscape was interested.  The mountains are starting to be covered with greeny.  Went through two places where they gave wind warnings.  We had no trouble and Gary did a great job.  Thank goodness for the new GPS.  It gives a clear view of which lanes you need to be in and then which direction you will turn next.  We still have the old one, if someone needs one.  It worked well; but with the camper, this RV GPS is great.  The old one has lifetime maps.  Free to a good home.

Traffic was not bad until about five miles from our destination.
San Diego seems to be pretty hilly will houses on the mountains.  Today we are going sightseeing to visit places that the Crigler family made famous.  We have already passed the elementary and high school that Bill attended.

Last night we went out to dinner at Rubios.   We tried a new experience.  We had fish tacos.  Actually pretty darn good.  Tonight, we might try Greek.  Yeah, Patty.
