January 9 2015 - Up to Laughlin Nevada
Friday we chose to go north towards Parker AZ. We always like to go one way and come home another. It was confusing; but we went north on the California side on Hwy Cal 95 and came back down on the Arizona side on Hwy AZ 95.
First picture is heading north into the mountains.
Our first stop was at McDonalds in Needles, CA. It was on top of a hill overlooking the train tracks and the city below. View while eating.....
We headed on down to Parker AZ. This is the London Bridge. I do believe you can still drive over it. There was an article in the paper where it had been hit and divers were retrieving pieces to put back.
This is Havasu Lake. This area is very commerical and pretty.
We are enjoying this area. The weather has turned warm again. It actually sprinkled today.
Happy trails. Time to start working on the income taxes......ugh.

Because we were getting close to Vegas I decided to call my friend MK. She thought we should go on up to Laughlin NV and check out the area. It was only 12 more miles north.
This picture is houses grouped very closely along the Colorado River. We followed the river up north and came down on the other side. We crossed the river at Bullhead, AZ.
Mary Kay, there are several casinos along Casino Avenue. Hopefully there would be shuttle buses. It was clean and somewhere we might enjoy. Gary offered to be our shuttle driver for a small fee.We headed on down to Parker AZ. This is the London Bridge. I do believe you can still drive over it.
