Trip Home

The trip home was beautiful.  We were flying above the clouds.  It looked like cotton balls.  The sun was brilliant.  I had never seen this before.

Passing Time on the Plane

Each of us had our way of passing the time on the airplane.  I jabbered, hung on, and tried to look brave.

Days of Sightseeing and Playing the Slots

Because MK and I are on a different clock than Dea and Pam, we decided they should eat breakfast when they get up around 6:00am.  (They kept waking us up!)  After we finally opened our eyes, we would meet and go sightseeing to the other casinos.  I have put pictures looking out from the glass walkway between the Californian and the Main Street Station.

Welcome to Vegas 2011

We arrived in Vegas around 7:45pm.  Cab ride gets higher each year.  You know those gas costs have to be covered.

Old Girls in Vegas

We made it home (no thanks to Frontier Airlines).  Our plane was lost in Denver again because they had hurricane winds the night before.  They ended up moving us to two different boarding gates before we finally got on a Midwest plane.  Trip was a bit bumpy; but not too bad if you take enough Dramamine.

Four Queens in Vegas 2011

We four ladies (Pam, Dea, Mary Kay, and ME) traveled to Vegas on March 20, 2011.  We arrived in Vegas with smooth sailing and ready to eat our customary Chinese Food dinner.  Yummy!

Getting Ready in March

Gary has been busy getting new rims on the camper.  Also a part needs to be added to hook the air vent to the roof.  Always, something challenging.  Gary has eight working days at Community Hospital.  I have been practicing retirement since January.  Think I might have it down pat. Miss Prissy has a new haircut and about froze in Missouri while taking care of Papa Lloyd and Auntie Donna.  She even had to dig deep in her drawers and wear the "Pooch for Sale" shirt her big brother Jason gave her. I've got my bags packed and am heading to Vegas with my "Four Queen" friends.
