Taking the Scenic Way Home to Find Coffee

I was a tad bit grumpy. Gary forgot my water and Donna didn't return my calls. I was in a butt chewing mood. Got to Phoenix in time for the 5pm rush hour. This got Grumpy's goat. He could not figure out what all the building were use.  It was located at the bottom of the ridge. Surround mountains from the resort. Condo at Oak on the Ridge?

December 21, 2017 Last few Days

Image
Well Charlie Brown and I put up our Christmas tree.  Probably last year for this ugly thing.  I think I got it at Dollar General a long, long, time ago. Because Christmas is sneaking up on me, I'm putting away the sewing machine and going to enjoy this last few days.  I made myself a couple of reversible vest to wear when it gets chilly here. Merry Christmas!

Monday....Is it Christmas?

I’ve been sewing and my sleep habits are a mess.  Having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit.  So today I had a talk with myself and we decided to finish the last leopard vest, covered the seat cushions on the kitchen chairs, redid Gary’s chair cover (it was crooked), and put everything away until the new year. The next picture is our winter home site.  Our neighbor had his connections running across to our pole.  Just added the flowers because they needed a home.  No big deal.  They have their motor home for sale because they bought a home here. Has anyone ever had real mistletoe?  This perasite grows wild on weak trees in Texas.  Gramps can’t avoid this clump! Merry Christmas!

December 16, 2017....After the laundry

Happy Birthday to our niece Angie. Don’t try to figure out my brain.  I’m blaming it on Bertie.  My crafty side has been raising its ugly head. This is my first wheel chair bag. Then I altered my vest that was too large.  Go figure. And then I took the scraps from the condo chairs and made a bag to carry iPad, phone, and Gary’s money. Better get busy, I have a box of material to work up before going back to Texas While in Texas, I got brave enough to drive to town, Weatherford, in the big ole truck. I can make it to Lowes, Target, Wal-Mart.....Such a feat.  One day I saw this pig along the road. Jason has always wanted to hunt wild pigs.  They seem to be increasing in numbers in this area. Roberta is always busy.  She volunteers at a local nursing home.  I went along for the ride and any food that might be available.  We made stuffed Christmas pillows.  It was fun and these ladies always enjoy company.
