Texas Plaque Texas Flag  Bertie had Weatherford Landscaping to do these flowers.  We got to see the finished product.  It gave us ideas to do more.. Bertie Bertie and Sandy My Sweetie and ME Bob and Berite We went through a little town with a big court hosue.  Texas does have some great buildings! Let me tell you, after visiting with the Henrys, a Rest Area is needed for Lazy Pants!  We are headed to Oklahoma.  Headed to Oogalah to visit Donald and family and then to Topeka to watch Calvin and Chaney play ball.  Knee surgery is on April 13.  I have appointments all next week to prepare for the great day.  Hope I can be a big girl and am anxious to be able to keep up with Gary and friends.

Today we visited the store with the big chairs.  Can you tell that Barb and Gale have lost a lot of weight.  The look and fee great. Barb, Bertie, and Sandy After we had been to the casino, we needed a little cash and went to the Fort Worth Bureau of Engraving and Printing.  No cell phones, no cameras. nothing allowed.......If you are ever in this area, go.  You won't regret it.  Amazing the amount of money stacked and drying in the building. We always have to eat, so we stoped at the Rainforest with swing animals and cool old men.

Can you tell we are getting old?  We've started visiting cemetaries....... We wanted to show Gale and Barb the witch's tomb and the bural place where Lonesome Dove was buried. Found this man standing on the ledge of the Baptist church.  Hope he wasn't considering jumping! Blue Bonnets in some yard..... The Crazy Water Hotel In Mineral Wells TX We happened to be in the right place a the right time.  We ran into a city employee who gave us a lot of info.  The most important, they have investors to revamp this old beauty and plans are to reopen in approximately two years.  This will be on my bucket list. Much to our bodies dismay, Bertie and I stayed up all night and met the boys for the free senior breakfast.  We then headed home and I hit the bed and Bertie was still going.  Whatever batteries she uses, I need some.

The next day we headed to Fort Worth to tour the town.  We visited a Christian Museum that had a life-size wax statue display of the Last Supper.  The wall below shows all the examples of the different crosses and their origin. I liked the wood carving of the nativity sciene. This is the high priest and the Crysp?  I will have to ask Gary if he remembers.  It was only a half scale. Bertie and the High Priest The guide explained that the spilled salt represented the nervousness of the traitor.  We enjoyed this tour.
